Placemarks provide a way to point out specific areas of the map. You can create placemarks anywhere on the map and edit them in the Airports and Placemarks dialog. Use placemarks to identify things such as:
- Special airspace
- Familiar or frequent destinations
- Vacation spots or memorable trips
Placemarks will be exported along with your flight records into any Google Earth file your create of your logbook.
